  • Aging, Disability Transit Services (ADTS)

    Our elderly as assisted with home meal delivery via Meals on Wheels with Aging Disability and Transit Services. Along with meals, human contact from volunteers goes a long way in brightening someone’s day.
  • American Red Cross

    Emergency assistance is provided to your friends and neighbors through the American Red Cross when it is needed the most.
  • Boy Scouts

    Youth can make friends, laugh loud, gain confidence, discover nature, and have fun in the boy scouts program. They experience the Scouting concepts of character development, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through engaging and exciting adventures while having a blast exploring the world around them in ways that fuel imagination and creativity.

    Youth are serviced with afterschool and summer enrichment programs including academic tutoring and character development.
  • Eden Rescue Squad

    All three Rockingham County Rescue Squads are supported with funding for continuing education training and much needed equipment. Thanks to your dollars, when needed they are there.
  • Eden YMCA

    Youth are serviced with afterschool and summer enrichment programs including academic tutoring and character development.
  • Help Inc.

    Help Incorporated: Center Against Violence uses your United Way dollars to sustain the Domestic Violence emergency shelter; and as the basis for matching funds from other Federal, State and Private Grants which they apply. Without your support, they would not be eligible for other dollars awarded to them.
  • Hospice

    Hospice of Rockingham County has never turned away an uninsured individual from care for lack of financial means.
  • Madison/Mayodan Rec Center

  • Madison/Rockingham Rescue Squad
    All three Rockingham County Rescue Squads are supported with funding for continuing education training and much needed equipment. Thanks to your dollars, when needed they are there.
  • Rockingham County Student Health

    Rockingham County Student Health Centers is a service provided at the four Rockingham County High Schools. This program allows students to seek health care at school making it more accessible. There is no need to miss school for doctors appts or parents to miss work. It also allows for students to seek help with emotional needs and chronic medical conditions in which supervision or assistance is needed regarding their medications. Without United Way of Rockingham County, the Student Health Centers would be forced to reduce their presence in our schools as well as the services they provide.

  • Reidsville YMCA

  • Rockingham County Partnership for Children
    http://rockinghamkids.com/Age appropriate books are provided to all registered children in Rockingham County birth to age five through Rockingham County Partnership for Children.
  • Rockingham County 4H

    Rockingham County 4-H provides all the materials for the Embryology curriculum taught in our 2nd grade classrooms (chicken hatching and butterfly release).
  • Salvation Army

    Emergency assistance is provided to your friends and neighbors through the Salvation Army of Rockingham County when it is needed the most.
